- November - Work has started on a new computer room / comms centre for Cemex (RMC) headquarters building in
Egham, Surrey.
Includes: UPS, close control air conditioning, fire detection & suppression system, cable management, lighting, raised floor,
fire rated partition / doors, suspended ceiling, and include extra measures to prevent high and low level water ingress into
the computer room facility.
- October - Upgrading the power capacity of a data centre in west London. Includes new generator, transformer and ring main
unit with associated switchgear, cabling and building works.
- September - installation of a new PACS server room for Basingstoke hospital All work completed to a very tight schedule and now handed over to client.
- ITE have completed a number of suite fit outs during the first half of 2005, each of which include :-
Fire rated partitions and doors.
Installation of PDUs with power run outs to racks.
Reconfiguring fire alarm and fire suppression equipment.
- Construction of a steel framed mezzanine level within an existing comms facility. This enabled the construction of an additional computer suite.
- Upgrading and overhauling the lighting within a Carphone Warehouse comms site.
- June - July: Phase I, Increasing the power capacity of an existing telehosting facility by converting a store area into a UPS / Switchgear room, the project comprised of adding a 2mVA generator, 4 new 300 kVA UPSs, associated switchgear, cooling and fire suppression / detection.
- August: Phase 2, of the same project is includes a new outbuilding to house a transformer, ring main unit and H.V. L.V switchgear. with additional cooling. Phase I & II completed November.
